The system of education is moving in the right direction

Recently I have started my work in a scientific and educational spheres, that’s why I would like to express my own point of view about the current Ukrainian situation.

It doesn’t have sense to criticize the system of education, which is moving in the right direction. Adopted laws, which are connected with education, correspond to all present requirements. I think it’s the best, of all decision, to come back to the 12-years-educational system.

After I had gone to University, I understood that it wasn’t enough to have 11 years of education for me. The lack of knowledge gave me uncomfortable feelings there, as a result. Of course, that uncertainty in my mental abilities partly depended on me too, as I had middle result at my school.

The current situation in educational sphere has become different. The teachers and lecturers permanently improve the level of their qualification: they have extra training, they learn additional languages.

To tell the truth, sometimes I`m even a little bit jealous of the schoolers nowadays. They have more qualified level of knowledge than I had 10 years ago.

Pupils make big success in IT-sphere. I think, that everybody who has started going to school, should receive good knowledge, how to work with a computer. Schoolers can use their knowledge not only in a theory, but in a practice too. As a result, becoming students, they have a good background in the 1 grade.

I want to emphasize, that the Ministry of education has achieved huge success with the improvements in a profile education. The young people have a choice: either go to work to the technical college or enter the University. Furthermore, if your choice is a technical college, it will facilitate you to employ in enterprises.

What about the process of entering the University? Every year the rules, concerning a set of documents, are becoming easier and more comfortable for the applicants. The most exciting and practical thing is the e-system of applying, which can help applicants any time.

I remember, I was staying for a long time in a queue to apply and my patience was exhausted. I just went home. If I had had an e-system of applying in my time, I would have spent nearly 1 hour to send all my documents to all specialties, which I wanted. Who knows, would I be a physicist, if I had an e-system of applying and had more patience?)

Generally speaking, the system of education moving in the right direction and even more – innovative direction.

I`m not worried for the future of my children. I believe that after 5-10 years everything will be even better.
