To legalize the prostitution, Carl!
It seems to me, that Ukraine has actually approached the point, when everybody wants to legalize everything. Recently one has wanted to legalize weapon, with what Petro Poroshenko(1) hasn’t agreed (and I don’t agree as well), and now there are attempts to legalize prostitution.
Using the fact, that "anyway a lot of girls work in this sphere, despite everything”, majority supports the idea of legalization of selling women’s bodies. Maybe, in some way it seems to be logical: the country will receive more money, corruption will probably disappear, because people will stop giving bribes. But the fact, that prostitutes will be within the law, makes laugh.
According to such logic, we need to legalize drugs, because the government will receive more money, or to leave rubbish at the street, because it happens anyway, so that the money will flow to the budget. Yes, we can legalize everything! Especially to raise money from everything! Maybe the best way is to repersuade girls not to go to such a contradictory profession, to give a psychological help. Or is it normal to sale your body nowadays!?
As an example one can open an institute of prostitution, where experienced prostitutes will teach young girls to sell their bodies successfully, and the main is to sell the body for the highest price. And within the time it will become normal, and an ordinary 11 year old girl will say to her mother, that she will certainly become a prostitute. And her father will say, with tears in his eyes, that he is proud of his girl... It's a good plot for "Mamahohotala"(2), and that’s it.
There are enough moral and physical prostitutes in our country. They perfectly exist out of law. At least some kind of fear makes them reconsider their life. If we legalize THIS, we will see how tainted is the system.
